ToolifyNav verdict
Bluedot competes in a crowded notetaker market by removing the most awkward part of most rivals: the bot that announces itself in the call. Capturing audio from the device makes it as handy in a café interview or a phone call as on Zoom, and the CRM, ATS and MCP integrations push notes to where work actually happens. The free tier is little more than a demo, and the cheapest paid plan carries real limits. Professionals with many external or in-person conversations will find its approach more discreet than bot-based alternatives.
About
About Bluedot
Bluedot is a meeting recorder and note-taker built around one differentiator: no bot joins your call. Instead of sending a visible assistant into Zoom or Google Meet, it captures audio through a Chrome extension, a Mac or Windows desktop app, or iOS, Android and Apple Watch apps, which also makes it usable for in-person meetings and phone calls.
After a meeting, Bluedot produces a transcript and a structured summary, with templates tuned for situations such as sales calls, customer check-ins, recruiting interviews and Q&A sessions. Transcription and summaries work in more than 100 languages. An AI chat lets you ask questions across many past meetings at once, and a shared library lets teams search transcripts and control who sees what.
Automation is the growth area. Bluedot can update CRMs and applicant-tracking systems on the Business plan, push notes to Notion and Slack, trigger Zapier or Make workflows, send webhooks, and expose meeting data through an MCP integration so assistants such as Claude can use it as context. The company says it is GDPR compliant and SOC 2 audited and that customer data is never used to train AI models. Only users who record meetings are billed, and recordings are permanently deleted a month after a subscription lapses.
