ToolifyNav verdict

Linguix covers the everyday layer of writing help, catching errors, smoothing sentences and enforcing house style, across seven languages at a price below the market leaders. The content score and shortcuts add practical value for people who send a lot of similar text, and the business style guides are a useful extra for small teams. It is not trying to be a creative writing partner, and its AI drafting is modest. Multilingual professionals and teams who want a lighter, cheaper grammar companion in the browser will find it handles the basics well without a premium price tag.

About

About Linguix

Linguix is a writing assistant that works wherever you type in the browser, through extensions for Chrome and other browsers, plus a web editor and companion apps. It checks grammar, spelling, punctuation and style in seven languages, namely English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and Polish, and detects the language automatically as you write.

On top of corrections, Linguix offers AI features for producing and reworking text. The rewriter can rephrase a sentence, shorten or expand a message, or adjust clarity and tone, and an AI writing assistant drafts content from prompts. A Content Quality Score rates a passage on sentence length, vocabulary complexity, passive voice and other readability factors, which the company suggests using to benchmark both human copy and text generated by chatbots. Shortcuts store templates and expand them with commands such as //intro, cutting repetitive typing in email and social media.

For businesses, Linguix Business adds style guides that enforce correct product names, executive titles and inclusive language across a team, plus team management, per-member performance stats, error counts and readability reports delivered by email. The company reports more than 450,000 Chrome installs. A free plan covers basic grammar checks, limited paraphrasing and shortcuts, while Linguix Pro unlocks advanced suggestions and fuller rewriting.
