ToolifyNav verdict
Among full-song generators, Mureka stands apart for its editing controls. The V8 model's focus on structure shows in songs that hold together over several minutes, and section regeneration means a weak chorus does not cost you the whole track. Its commercial terms on paid plans make it usable for creators who publish. The caveats are the usual ones for AI music — vocals that occasionally slip, rights questions some platforms still debate — plus a pricing lineup that has shifted often. Creators who need many original tracks per month get strong value from the annual plans.
About
About Mureka
Mureka is the consumer music app of Kunlun Tech's Skywork AI group and one of the main alternatives to Suno and Udio. You type a prompt or paste lyrics, choose genre, mood, tempo and instrumentation, and Mureka returns complete songs with vocals, or instrumentals and background music if you prefer. In January 2026 the company released its V8 model, built on a planning approach it calls MusiCoT that sketches song structure before rendering audio; the stated aim was publishable full songs rather than disposable clips. Songs can run to roughly five and a half minutes.
Beyond generation, Mureka adds editing tools. Remix reworks vocals or instrumentals with different styles while keeping the melody, extensions continue a track, and section editing lets you regenerate a specific region. Higher tiers allow uploading reference audio, using any voice — even humming — as the singer, cloning a voice for commercial projects, and downloading WAV files and stems. A Studio environment supports lyric changes that preserve the original melody and performance, and the platform also offers text-to-speech and a music-video generator.
Free accounts can try the core generator with limits on quality and volume, but downloads and commercial use require a subscription. Developers can reach the same models through the Mureka API platform, billed separately.
