ChatCSV is a fire extinguisher. Julius is a longer conversation. Tableau or Livedocs is a house with plumbing. Using the extinguisher as the house is how a team ends up with five versions of last month’s revenue. Keep it for attachments and spikes. The moment a question becomes a KPI, move the logic somewhere inspectable. Confirm what the tool did to IDs and dates on your actual file — demo CSVs never contain the column that ruins you. If finance will sign the figure, recompute it once in the spreadsheet you already trust.

Silent type coercion is the footgun. IDs become numbers and lose leading zeros. Dates parse in the wrong locale. Spot-check the ugly rows before you paste a total into Slack. If the file is financial and someone will sign it, recompute the figure in a tool you already trust.
