Taskade is glue for early, outline-shaped work. Linear is the system when the work has dependencies and review. Motion and Reclaim are calendars, not this. Use Taskade while the project still fits in a map. The week you need an audit trail, move. Do not run both Taskade and Linear for the same tickets. Confirm export before you pour a quarter of notes into a format you cannot leave. Outline tools die when the only copy of the plan is trapped in a pretty map.

Taskade is for groups who think in trees. A brainstorm becomes a mind map, the map becomes a checklist, and nobody opened Jira. That is a feature until the work grows dependencies, SLAs, and auditors.
Graduation signals are loud: multi-team programs, change-control, sprint governance. Those belong in Linear or Jira. Staying in Taskade past that point is how a serious program looks like a picnic.
AI agents will reshuffle notes. They will not assign a human. After every brainstorm, names go on rows. Orphan tasks are how these tools get a bad reputation.
If the team already lives in Linear, do not add Taskade as a second source of truth “for the creatives.” Pick one list. Two lists is how the same bug is “done” in one tool and on fire in the other. Use Taskade for the messy beginning, then migrate named work once it has an owner and a date — not after the third missed handoff. One list. One owner.
